Then they show a montage of some museums with various artefacts in them before returning to their filming spot to go through everything that has been ticked off. They then show montages of the museum of earth sciences, the blue reef aquarium, and then some ducks.

Thank you so much for this video; I relate so much! I won't go into all my own details but I have to say (as much as I hate that you have this experience, too) it's so nice to hear someone else say these things and have some validation and know I'm not the only one! I also have emetophobia but I didn't know it was an actual thing until a few years ago (and this is my first time hearing about ARFID), so my whole life I carried shame and anxiety about it. I also have other chronic health issues (autoimmune disease & anxiety disorder & the complicated tangle resulting from those) that have played into my food issues and I definitely understand some of the vicious cycles. Thank you - again - for opening up about this!

I've only very recently started identifying as genderqueer, for a big part because I didn't fully understand what it was or the difference with non-binary. For me personally, although the definition(s) of non-binary do apply to me, for some reason the term non-binary just doesn't resonate with me and the term genderqueer does. I have no idea where I stand when it comes to gender, just that there's something queer going on, hence genderqueer

for a while i identified as genderqueer over nonbinary too, but it didn't really feel specific enough, because it also includes gender roles and expression, it can also include cis or binary trans people, so i kinda moved away from it. i do call myself queer though in terms of gender. like queer as a gender the same way male or female are genders, not just how i relate to my gender is queer. technically genderqueer still fits but i'm the kinda person who needs a bit of specificity, and nonbinary is specifically only about gender and not really about gender roles or expression, so doesn't include cis or binary trans people. for myself, i wanted something that specifically says that my gender is outside of the binary, which i know is how many people use the term genderqueer too, but many others use it way broader. i love the term queer, and i hate the acronym LGBTQ+, to be quite honest. i've heard many people say that genderqueer is just synonymous with trans which is also just eh. i know it's not that but even then, i want to be clear about what kind of trans i am

The Celt's were a warrior culture by nature. They were not peaceful in any way to their enemies and in fact, much of what I've found even dictates the proper ways to wage war and the rules of engagement when stealing each others cattle. War games were huge during festivals. They put just as much stock put into psychological warfare which is why bandying words is to this day so prevalent in those areas. Most importantly, the ideals dictate what a warrior should be doing during times of peace, crafting, doing art, writing poetry. The Druids had a great deal of love and respect for stories and songs which is why bards were held in such high regard. It's difficult to find a lot of info on the druids because their culture dictated that they should not write anything down, believing instead in the power of the spoken word. There is no shame in being a fighter. It's something to be proud of. Food for thought. In your path to peace, don't forget the warriors that protected their people.

Thanks for the explanation. 20+ years ago when I transitioned MtF, the term non-binary label wasn't in use that I was aware of. But we had people who either couldn't get approved for HRT or simply who didn't want to. So how this would play out for us in SoCal was us binary MTF and FtM folk would have a support group meeting where we talked about transition, hormones, passing, challenges with the whole transition process and then AFTER the support group meeting we'd go to Sherry's for pie and salad and that's when the gender queers would show up to hang out for that part of the night. Gender queer was just a catch all for anyone gender non-conforming that would hang with us. We had some different labels for the few we knew that hung out. Gender rebels and gender outlaws were VERY intentionally non conforming. They had very gendered presentation, but you never knew how they'd look exactly. Kinda playing with gender. No idea what such a person would be called today. Bigender was the same as today. But I never heard this idea of mixing up pronouns and alternating. They kinda were like part timers. Conform all the way one way in one group, then all the way the other way in another scenario. Not sure if I ever really knew any real bigender, because the person who was bigender I knew ended up identifying as MTF, she just couldn't dress en femme at home because of family. Androgenes would be called agender today. Exact same thing. Tend to be androgenous and like it that way. There were others I'm sure, and this was just a tiny handful of people that were friends with us transsexuals (the word we used at the time for us), so take with a grain of salt. The gender queers were basically just friends of ours that hung out when we talked about random stuff like pie, movies, music, or whatever. I'm sure there were plenty of other gender queers out there in both queer spaces and not, but that's my grand experience with such people in the days before social media was invented.

I came out as trans in 2001 years and I concur. "Genderqueer" was a catchall, sometimes "transgender" has also played that role. Medical transition did hold an influence on identity that it largely does not anymore, especially among transfems. Post-op/pre-op/non-op for "transsexuals" versus "transgender" people who didn't use hrt (leading to phrases like "TS/TG/TV" and "trans*" lasting into the 2010s), etc. "Genderqueer" was often politicized, like "Queer". "Nonbinary" was created to be that without political implications - not necessarily trying to challenge gender as a construct, just not exclusively man or woman. I still use the term "genderqueer" because I had it first. But I'm okay with "nonbinary" too. I wouldn't necessarily say I'm agender but I'm most comfortable when I'm not being gendered.

I don't think every marriage needs to have one person who performs the traditional role of man and the other perform the traditional role of woman. It's okay if a marriage doesn't adhere to traditional gender roles, as long as the people in the relationship are happy with the relationship.
